Are you sick of guessing which product works best for your skin? Well, I know quite a lot of people who spend almost tens of thousands for beauty products only because of one reason: to simply make their faces look whiter and acne free.
I am no expert, but I was thinking maybe the products I use can help you. I am so not confident to share how I look before but trust me. These products worked for me and guess what? They are not as pricey as you think. You only need 199 pesos.
You will buy the following and I’ll tell you what to do after.
149 pesos- celeteque set (Facial Wash, Toner, Moisturizer)
50 pesos- Kojiesan Soap
= 199 = skin so soft
Yes, for only 199 pesos you will be able to achieve the whiteness that you’ve been wanting.
Okay, let’s start with what this specifically do. In my case, this fixed my uneven skin tone; helped minimize my black and white heads and finally, this made my face look whiter. Yes! A time will come that you won’t have to do the routine every day because it’ll make your face whiter than your neck and we don’t want that to happen, do we?
Okay, so this time I’ll talk about how to use these products.
For Evenings (Before you sleep)
I suggest starting this routine at night. This routine won’t be good for mornings because you are prone to sunlight.
Tip1: Kojiesan is a really strong soap, when you apply the soap on your face you may feel that literal acid is really on your face. If you feel a little burning feeling, be glad because that means this soap has 80% chance of becoming your beauty partner. Using Kojiesan will help clean our faces and make it easier for us to rub the dead skin.
PART 1: KojieSan
Sprinkle water on your face first, then wet your hands then rub to the soap (don’t soak the soap on the water)Doing so will lessen the effectiveness of the soap on your next use. Make sure to make white thick bubbles by rubbing. Then apply to face evenly! Let it sit on your face for 3-5 minutes depending on the burning that you feel. (Don’t get scared about the burning sensation, we’ll fix that later)
After 3-5 minutes, rinse your face thoroughly. Try to touch the sides of your nose to test if you can already rub off your dead skin. If it’s rough, proceed to the next step. But if it’s still oily then you might have to repeat the first step.
Okay, so if it feels rough now, start scrubbing off the dead skin. Tip 2: Dead skin are usually thick in the following parts of the face: the sides of your nose; above, below, and sides of your mouth. Yes! I have a lot of them in those parts so you try checking them out and you’ll be shocked.
After the scrubbing, rinse with water. It’s good to use warm water, but we know we don’t have time for that. So, we can use the tap water instead.
Now you’re done cleaning your face that made you look dark. I was thinking maybe you are worried that the soap burned your face or you were scared of the amount of dead skin cells that you scrubbed earlier. Don’t worry, because we aren’t done yet! As I’ve said before, this soap is really strong. When I first used it, I was so afraid, it felt like it would burn my whole face but as time passed by I got used to it and you will get used to it too.
tip3: You are probably heading out for work or school and sunlight are inevitable. So never perform this routine if you are going out.
tip4: Another tip, brush your teeth first before this routine. I don’t know if it’s just me but I always brush my teeth with soap on my face and that’s not really good because the toothpaste bubbles could add burning feels around your mouth. So major No-No!
PART 2: Celeteque
So let’s proceed to our very gentle friend, celeteque. So, just as what we normally do. We wash our face with the celeteque facial wash and then dry it off with a towel. Dab dab dab! Don’t just wipe it off like what the wiper does on the windshield. Dab gently! Sounds OA but be gentle as you can. Touch the sides of your nose, if you notice they are now oily. Unlike before when you used Kojiesan.
Next step is the toner, get some of your mom’s cotton (haha) then apply on your face and neck gently.
and the last step is the moisturizer. Be generous when using this! Evenly apply it on your face and stay inside. LOL! Before the toner and moisturizer make sure you are not going out anymore, going out with moisturizer on your face will attract dust and particles that could result in acne! So, that’s a No-No!
tip5: If you have no moisturizer, you can use petroleum jelly! I used it before I met celeteque.
Wait for the moisturizer to dry then you are ready to sleep. If you use petroleum jelly then you’ll have to sleep like sleeping beauty because you might stain your pillows and sheets! Ewww, that would be super greasy.
For your morning routine (during baths or before heading out)
Just use kojiesan soap to get rid of the oiliness from last night. Let is stay on your face for 1-2 minutes. If you want and if there are dead skin cells that need to be scrubbed then do it but not too much because you are gonna be facing direct sunlight for the next few hours.
tip6: If you have sunscreen, you can use it but just a little enough not make your face look oily.
Tip7: In terms of the kojiesan night routine, you can do that in the mornings IF! IF you are not going to places where you will be exposed to the sun. (I do it in the mornings and just bring umbrella with me)
tip8: This is rare but you can do the night routine during mornings if it’s typhoon season! That means no sun!
Stick with this routine for atleast 1-2 weeks and you will see the results.
tip9: To save with the soap, it’s cheap but my 50 pesos lasts 2-3 months just by slicing them in 5-6 portions.
Honestly, at the first, I didn’t know about moisturizers and toners. I just used kojiesan and petroleum jelly! After a few weeks of using them consecutively, I noticed that my face looked like flour, my neck was too dark. I stopped my kojiesan routine for a week. It was really funny that I had to put foundation on my neck for a week so my face and neck would have the same colour.
Anyways, everybody must’ve found this really simple but I am sure not everyone knows about this technique. This worked to my friends 🙂
