Cebu Safari — Welcome to the Wild!

Cebu Safari and Adventure Park – Welcome to the WILD!

Cebu Safari, yes I am speaking about our country’s biggest zoo. Well, they have not officially opened yet; they are now in their soft opening.

Fortunately, I am one of those lucky people who got the chance to visit the zoo before official opening.. Last Thursday, May 30, 2018, my cousins and I traveled early from Cebu City to Toril, Brgy. Corte, Cebu, we traveled more than an hour because we got stuck in the traffic in some areas especially in Consolacion. So I advise you to leave early, maybe as early as maybe 6 AM to avoid traffic, also to have enough time to roam around the 1000- hectare safari.

Since they are still limiting the numbers of visitors in the zoo, always make a reservation to make your slot sure. They don’t accommodate walk-ins yet.

I find the place really unique, it’s like you are in another country, the ambiance, the environment, and the feels is different and world-class.

White Tiger schedule is from 8am to 10am
You can also feed the crocodiles for only 100 pesos!
Yup! You can literally be so near to them.

What to wear?

Lol! This is important especially to aspiring bloggers like me! Well, it’s going to be a little sweaty cause most of the time you will be walking, they have trams but there are areas where it’s better to walk to fully enjoy and appreciate the view. Wear a comfy pair of rubber shoes, comfy shorts, and comfy shirt. In short, wear comfortable clothes. You can also bring a cap for sun protection! One thing, they have umbrellas provided for the visitors, you can find them in the restos or tram stops so don’t worry if it gets too sunny.

How to make a reservation?

Again, like I mentioned above, they do not accommodate walk ins, so you need to make a reservation. You can do it by sending them an email at (If you email them, they usually reply 2-3 days, we got our confirmation after 3 days)

How to get there?

This? I am not sure of. Since we went there by a private car, I can’t really give an idea how to get there by commuting if you are from Cebu City. But, if you are in the National Road in Carmen, you just have to look for the Carmen, National High School. Turn left if you came from the south and right if, from the north, you just have to follow the road signs, it’s approximately 8km from the highway. You can also use Google maps for assistance.

Is it okay not to make a reservation?

Nah, it’s definitely not advisable as they only cater 2000 visitors per day, if you have no reservation, your slot won’t be guaranteed.

How much is the Entrance Fee?

During my visit, we paid 800 pesos per head. It already includes lunch meal. (yes! The food is really good too.)

What are the operating hours?

– It opens at 8 in the morning until 5 pm however last entry or ticket selling is only up to 2 pm because the tour requires at last 3 hours to finish.

They also have photographers roaming around the zoo, they take stunning photos so you need to visit their stations and check your photos. You can print them for only 250 pesos. It’s worth it!  Make sure to print at least one.

Again, it’s amazing! World-class! Especially if the zoo is fully operational. The day we visited, was a day after the Lion was delivered, so .. we were not able to see the Lion! Well, no worries because we are definitely coming back soon. A lot of buildings and rides are still under construction so coming back is really a must.

If you have questions, I’d be really happy to help 🙂

  1. Hello! Would you mind if I share your blog with my facebook group? There’s a lot of folks that I think would really appreciate your content. Please let me know. Thanks

  2. I have mastered some significant things through your blog post post. One other point I would like to mention is that there are various games on the market designed mainly for preschool age little ones. They include things like pattern identification, colors, creatures, and forms. These typically focus on familiarization instead of memorization. This keeps little children engaged without having the experience like they are studying. Thanks
