In love with Milk Teas? Same here. How did my love for milk tea start?

It was when I visited my cousins in Cebu for a holiday. They made me taste the super yummy milk tea from BTS (Bubble Tea Station). Since then, it has been a hobby of mine to have milk tea everyday when I visit Cebu. (Sorry Starbucks)

It’s really undeniable that milk teas have different tastes, it depends on the store. We got tons of shops to choose from, BTS, Gong Cha, Macao Imperial, Coco and many more. But, let’s head to the original land of Milk Tea — Taiwan.

I visited Taiwan twice and tasted so many different milk teas from different shops. I can say that there is really a difference.

So, what are we waiting for? Aside from the very famous Tiger Sugar, the best milk tea that I’ve ever tasted is Xing Fu Tang. Sadly, I only tasted it once but it left a really good impression on me. We found out about it on our 2nd visit in Taiwan, specifically in Ximending (night market). We were just strolling around first to find out which milk tea brand we should have for the night, I have this self-rule to have only 1 milk tea a day due to my really bad hyperacidity. While walking around and taking photos, we noticed a really long line of people in the queue for a certain milk tea. We can’t help but be curious so we had to check it out and ended up joining the line.

We ordered the best-selling milk tea: Brown Sugar Boba Milk!

For me, what made the milk tea extraordinary and stand out from others is the boba (pearls). They are well made and most importantly very sweet. It was definitely worth the wait.
